What I do
Most of it is the same shape: a web application, the API behind it, and the systems it has to talk to. .NET and TypeScript, from the database up to what the user actually clicks. The industrial and AI work sits on that foundation rather than beside it — I am responsible for an ERP day to day, which is exactly why I am careful about how an agent is allowed to reach one. Each of these stands on its own.

C# APIs, SQL Server and Oracle, CQRS, and moving legacy systems forward without betting the company on a rewrite. Six years of it: credit decisioning that has to track regulation, and utility systems that had to pass enterprise security review.
MES, ERP and MRP integration, and software that talks to machines. I have converted a plant's proprietary shop-floor applications to C# and folded them into one system, one at a time. Before I wrote software I ran mills, lathes and grinders in a precision shop, so I know what it costs an operator when the software gets in the way.
MCP servers over the systems you already run, agent tooling your team can extend, and LLM features inside products that already exist. The hard part is rarely the model. It is giving it a bounded, reviewable way to reach your data.

How I work
One to two weeks, fixed fee. I read the code, talk to the people who run it, and hand you a written recommendation that is yours to keep whether or not you hire me for the build.
We agree what "done" means before I start. You get the code, the tests, and documentation good enough that the next engineer does not need to call me.
By the month, part-time, with the hours agreed up front. Best when the work is continuous but nobody internally has the hours for it.

I finished as a corporal, plane captain and collateral duty inspector — the person who signs an aircraft safe for flight — and ran the night powerline crew on deployment. Inspecting other people's work on something that kills people when it is wrong teaches you verification. It is where this site gets its name.
